INGREDIENTS
- 250ml full fat milk
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 500ml thickened cream
- 1 tbs vanilla essence
- 1/3 cup Strawberry topping
COATING
- 200g chocolate, melted
- Desiccated coconut for sprinkling
METHOD
1. Place the Cool Scoops Ice Cream Maker Freezer Bowl in the freezer overnight
2. In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer on low speed to combine the milk and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Mix in the cream, vanilla essence and strawberry topping.
3. Pour the mixture into the frozen freezer bowl and let mix until thickened, about 15 to 20 minutes. Pour the mixture into ice cream moulds and place in the freezer overnight to set.
4. Once set dip each ice cream in the melted choc and sprinkle with coconut.
HOW TO MELT CHOCOLATE
Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl and only microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each time. Once chocolate is looking almost melted with just a few lumps, don't microwave it again just stir the chocolate until it is completely smooth
