A quick an easy way appetizer that will be sure to impress your guests at your next holiday.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed in the refrigerator overnight
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 12 slices brie, cut into 1½ x 1-inch rectangles (¼-inch thick)
- 2 to 3 tablespoons whole berry cranberry sauce
Preparation
- Unfold pastry sheet, smoothing out any creases. Cut into 2-inch squares and then, using the tines of a fork, prick the top of the pastry a few times. (Store additional pastry in the refrigerator for another use.)
- Put the air fryer basket onto the baking pan and generously coat with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place the puff pastry squares on the prepared air fryer basket.
- Place the prepared basket into the oven in the middle position. Select Air Fry and set the temperature to 400°F and the time to 5 minutes. Once the pastry is done, remove and top each pastry puff with the sliced brie. Return to the oven, in the upper position, and select Air Fry and set the temperature to 400°F and the time to 2 minutes.
- Remove and transfer to a serving platter. Dollop the cranberry sauce over each brie bite. Serve immediately.
Note: This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled, depending on how many people are being served.
